Foxwoods Resort Casino has so many hotel options, it’s hard to cover them all. This week NETimeGambling was able to stay at Two Trees Inn two separate nights here us our report.
Two Trees Inn is the only Foxwoods hotel on campus, but not connected to the casinos. Ample shuttles are available to get to and from the casinos.
Registration was easy. Staff was very cordial and informative. As you walk in, two areas are available to relax in, one with a fireplace.
The first night was a deluxe room (basic). It was clean, with refrigerator, coffee, and two bottles of water complimentary. These rooms have plenty of closet space.
The second night, I was surprised with an upgrade to a suite. While small, it was still special, with two rooms, one to relax in with TV and a large bedroom, also with TV, with the sink outside the bathroom, which I find helpful for couples. The suite had the same amenities.
While I didn’t use the pool, it does seem large enough to entice families, which unfortunately could be the only negative for a good nights sleep. Being away from the main casino, and having lower rates, Two Trees tends to attract families with children of all ages as well as other patrons of all ages.
Considering eats, the Grille at Two Trees features casual atmosphere with New England favorites as well as hearty appetizers, elegant salads, steaks and seafood. The lounge is open until midnight, except on Fruday and Saturday, when it’s open until 2:00 AM. Across the street there is a small food mart and Burger King if fast food is in your future.
I would highly recommend Two Trees. Four stars instead of five – only because Foxwoods other hotels would be considered five stars all in the middle of the casino area.
Great staff, clean, and a pleasure to stay.
