Foxwoods partnering with Mario Barth, one of the world’s most renown and innovative tattoo artists, is about to begin soon in the Fox Tower shops adjacent to Grand Effects and Carina retail outlets.

Coming in September, in the Fox Tower Casino, Mario Barth’s “King Ink” the first Tattoo shop in a New England Casino.  This has been an increasing trend in Las Vegas, being featured at The Palms, Mandalay Bay, The Hard Rock and Mirage. thMario Barth has won over 200 awards from all over the world for his tattooing over the past 30 years, including but not limited to best tattoo artist of the year for 8 years before retiring from competitive tattooing.  Barth, known in the tattoo industry as an innovator and one of tattooing’s most influential artists, operates studios in Las Vegas and in Rochelle Park, N.J.

It’s also a custom jewelry store, featuring jewelry adorned with metal, skulls, and gems on display. Not only that, but it offers fashionable and unique jewelry that you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

2The 2,000-square-foot King Ink studio will feature piercing and tattooing by various artists hired by Barth. The shop will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will be Barth’s second tattoo studio on the East Coast. Foxwoods said the parlor will offer all styles of tattoos, “including traditional, eastern, Japanese, tribal, portraits, full color, photo-realism, cosmetic tattooing, and camouflage.”

On a side note, Barth founded Intenze Ink Tattoo Colors, the industry’s first sterile ink company,and also created a series of special inks for use in reconstructive surgery for more natural skin colors. He is a chief consultant and practitioner with Hackensack Cosmetic Surgeons.
