It was reported on April 23rd that the fight of the year between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao took just 60 seconds for the May 2 fight to sell out! Let’s hope this isn’t a short one like the famous Tyson-Spinks first round knock-out.
Boxing used to be an American sport equal to that of baseball, with legendary match-ups. Those days are long over. In boxing’s case, it is in survival time, as many of the top combat athletes have gone to mixed martial arts. Could this fight bring the fervor back for the skill, the science and the art of boxing?
