Let it be said that this blogger wanted to see Mohegan Sun in Palmer at the beginning.
I’m glad I got that off my chest. Now, it’s time for healing and acceptance. So, I checked out the MGM Springfield website, and I gotta say – it’s pretty cool!
My favorite part is how the main page shows historic areas around the casino, then they morph into renderings of how it will look in the future.
There are plenty of places to submit your thoughts and contact MGM about the property.
What impresses me the most is that, since the project’s inception, MGM seems to be concerned with the surrounding community in Springfield. The area the property is expecting to build on has needed economic help for sometime. MGM Springfield supports nonprofit agencies that provide direct services to people living in the communities where their project has an impact, as well as where their future employees live. MGM Springfield’s 2015 philanthropic contributions reflect MGM Resorts International’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and to building stronger host communities.
If you already are an MLife member(MGM’s Rewards Card), it should be connected to all MGM properties, especially the southern strip of Las Vegas.
So, MGM – I approve. You may now build. NETime Gambling has given permission.
Now, let’s see if all those promises of community help and being an upstanding part of Springfield come through. If so, I will definitely be visiting. Mean while, check out their website. click on the following:
That’s all for now.
