Foxwoods Resort Casino is pleased to announce the appointment of Felix D. Rappaport to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In his role, Felix will be a leader in all aspects of the organization’s gaming operations including Gaming, Marketing, Entertainment, Retail and Food & Beverage. According to Business Wire, he has more than 32 years of hospitality and has been providing expertise at major gaming operations for the last 25 years. Most recently Felix served as the President and Chief Operating Officer for MGM Resorts International’s The Mirage in Las Vegas, NV. Foxwoods is hoping that his extensive background in gaming, marketing, and entertainment will bring the customer experiences at Foxwoods to new heights.

He has worked for MGM Resorts International from 1998-2012, opened 5 properties during career including Treasure Island for Steve Wynn, and has handled hundreds of capital projects including Room Remodels, Theaters, Nightclubs, Restaurants, Attractions, Spas, Salons, Pools, Gaming Floors, etc. He has also had previous experience in Atlantic City, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Resident of Nevada since 1991.
Between Butera, recently from Caesar’s Gaming and Rappaport from MGM-Mirage, it seems Foxwoods is gearing up for the increased competition in New England.
